GOD: The Great Controversy, or is it?

My desire is to live a life pleasing to God. But, exactly how is this done? I started on what I thought would be a year-long journey actually studying the bible for the first time in my adult life. It actually took me about 2 years…way longer than I anticipated or wanted. Needless to say my journey is complete and I am starting over again. During this time God was preparing me for His truth in the word. I realize people may decide to not follow or share my post/blog because of this but I am soooo grateful for God and His truth!!

This leads me to the question, What makes God so controversial?

In further breakdown of the word controversial – dispute about contentious topic: disagreement on a contentious topic, strongly felt or expressed by all those concerned, or an instance of this. definition provided by Encarta World English Dictionary

I have determined that God is NOT the controversial topic. Why? It’s simple….everyone or most everyone believes there is a God. The controversy comes in the journey to God. But is it really sooo different?

I have not studied every religion to speak expertly on the topic of whether each religion is very similar. I do feel that in varying nationalities use recognize different names in the same context. God is God and I believe each religion believes this. This is the basis. If we, as children of God, align our selves, our thoughts and all of our actions with God before taking any action, God will guide us all. God is waiting on us(the children) to turn to him for guidance…much like a Parent/Child relationship. Lean not to your own understanding but seek God first.

Tween Styles

I am always looking for new cute and fly styles for my rising middle-schooler. I try to keep her looking cute but not so cute that she looks like a baby and not too fly so that she looks too grown.
